Stability of Evotherm in Asphalt

How long will Evotherm in asphalt remain effective at typical storage temperatures? This is one question we often get asked. To investigate, we have conducted laboratory tests by adding our additive to the asphalt, and storing it for up to 20 days at 300 F.  We have found that, even after 20 days in the binder, our additive lost no effectiveness in its abilities as a warm mix additive and adhesion promoter. For more information on the storage and handling of asphalt, the Asphalt Institute has a good overview  by Dwight Walker and John Davis that they posted in August, 2008.  Thermal Stability
